Etna and its park

Etna (“Mungidebbu” or simply “a Muntagna” in sicilian dialect) is an active volcano situated on the east coast of Sicily, between Catania and Messina. The highest active volcano in Europe and one of the highest in the world. Its height is always changing becouse of the continous eruptions. At the moment it's about 3.340 m high and has a diameter 45 kilometers large.
